Day 11

Even at the market I am starting to "see" the GM. :)

  1. Nice one. The white balance looks like it's a bit yellow (overhead lights or shadecloth?) but I love the composition and the inclusion of the ice for context and storytelling. Very nice work!

  2. I was at the mercy of the store lighting and I believe it was a dim fluorescent. I guess I could have messed more in adjustment layers.

  3. I was wondering if that was water, or ice - but I like that you included it.
We all need to eat our vegetables! Thanks for the reminder!!

  5. I like that you included the ice and the details on the sprounts are fabulours. Now let me think...S in for Sprouts. After seeing this shot - I'm tempted! :-)

  7. When you wrote GM, I thought you meant Genetically Modified! ;-)
Great shot, Nice highlights on the sprouts to show that they are wet, and the ice in the corner really works well.

  8. Hmmm...I think you might have two different color temperatures going on...the ice looks nice and white, but then the sprouts look like they are lit with a different source...like a tungsten bulb?. Really, if you tried to get it right on the sprouts it would look funny on the ice. I think you could possibly fix it with a selective color adjustment to the green and/or yellow...
