This is a tea pot my mother gave me some years ago. I hardly ever use it but I do cherish it. Notice those flamingos? I guess she knows me pretty well...

This will be a real challenge for me. As my 30 day photography challenge I have chosen to shoot with "The Golden Mean" or "Golden Rectangle" (closely related to the rule of thirds) as my theme. It is composition I will be focusing on rather than a specific subject. Knowing this is my weakest area of my photography should really force me to learn. http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1013&message=29939768
Aawww, I wish you had gone a little wider so we could see more of the flamingos and the edges of the extremities of the pot. Either that, or go in closer to more detail. As it is, it seems it's not a closeup detail shot and it's also not a whole-of-object shot. Great lighting and background though.
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual looking handle and what a special looking Tea Pot. Nice composition but wish I could see the spout :-)
