Even Geese were showing me the Golden Mean today!
If they can see it surely I can! LOL :D
This will be a real challenge for me. As my 30 day photography challenge I have chosen to shoot with "The Golden Mean" or "Golden Rectangle" (closely related to the rule of thirds) as my theme. It is composition I will be focusing on rather than a specific subject. Knowing this is my weakest area of my photography should really force me to learn. http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1013&message=29939768
Those would be geese, and I like how although all of them together are arranged as the mean, each one in their own ways has a slight curved and curled composition. Great colours too, with the stark white and bright orange. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great catch! So glad the geese cooperated with your theme ;-)
ReplyDeleteWow, their necks are so bendy! Nice job catching them in formation :D
ReplyDeleteNice shot. I especially like the blues and browns of the water.
ReplyDeleteOO i love the blue hues in this!!! Pretty!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch cooperative subjects for you too, they look busy with preening and such things that birds do.
ReplyDeleteGreat timing and keep up the interesting theme, it's opening all our eyes to the GM.
Very nice catch.

The colours work very well together. Lots of blue & white and a subtle touch of orange.
ReplyDeleteHey!!! Did you borrow my theme for this shot??
ReplyDeleteLOL! I wish I could be so lucky! I love this shot....great color and fun to view!
Lol what a great capture! That goose with it's head upside down really knows what the golden mean is all about.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! You're opening up my eyes! And I thought geese were mean enough as it was, now the GM! Silly, eh?
