Day 4

We found this little guy in our wood stack. Very unusual this time of year.

  1. This is such a nice road for my eye to travel. I had to look at it in full to figure out the moth. I am wondering if the white might be a bit too bright for the serenity of the subject.

  2. The large blank space, defined by the colored yarn, gives the deserved contract for the moth . Beautiful shot (like all others).
    Congratulations.

  10. I love this! It's such a bizarre subject, such a strange setup and just so, well, quirky! The exposure and colours are great, and it's hard to figure out what it is, which almost makes it a great abstract. The curving composition is dead perfect. Nice work.

  11. This is my fave so far. That's the weirdest looking yarn/rope I've seen, it's so hairy! And good capture of the moth at the end of it, the moth really cooperated with you :)

  12. You chose a tough theme but you are doing brilliantly with it so far. This is a great shot of a very quirky bit of yarn - lovely stuff :-)

  13. What an awesome theme. I once stayed in a hotel that openly used the golden mean in decorating. It was a pretty spiffy place and a great way to hide the fact that it was an old old old building, not in a good historical way, but an almost creepy dirty way. This picture is my favorite so far. It took me a minute to spot the bug and the lead into it was a nice ride for my eyes.

  15. I guess the GM must be in this shot, I can't stop looking at it. Although, yes, the white is a bit harsh.
