This is day 1 keeping it simple. I just happened to glance over at my couch and saw the pattern of the pillows and decided to photograph the pattern and accent the basics of the Golden Mean.

This will be a real challenge for me. As my 30 day photography challenge I have chosen to shoot with "The Golden Mean" or "Golden Rectangle" (closely related to the rule of thirds) as my theme. It is composition I will be focusing on rather than a specific subject. Very challenging theme! I'm not the measuring type and bad at math so I stay away from assignments whith such themes.

How convenient that the golden mean shape was right there when you started looking :) I admire you for choosing a challenging theme, if you ever get stuck, just look to nature for help :)
